All Abyssinians are descended from one kitten named Zulu that a soldier brought to England from Alexandria, Egypt. Abyssinian cats also contain some English Tabby. Abyssinians are closely related to Felis Libya, a wild African cat that was the forerunner of all domesticated cats.
